The Stellar Care and Services LLC agency is approved by the Colorado State Division for Developmental Disabilities to provide individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to
participate in typical community activities that most people take for granted.
Stellar Care employees (mentors) pick up the individuals from their home and take them into the community to participate in activities that help them with independence and self-sufficiency. Activities are designed to build relationships and natural supports (friendships), learn basic life skills including money management, appropriate social skills, transportation access, self-care (i.e., grooming, toileting, eating, dressing), communication, socialization, safety, perceptual motor skills, functional arithmetic (i.e., numerals, money, measurement, time), positive behavior supports, vocational skills, domestic skills, and other specialized areas.
In order to qualify for employment with Stellar Care and Services LLC, you must have a reliable vehicle to transport individuals with appropriate car insurance; be able to pass a criminal background check; be able to read and write the English language and turn in paperwork on time (all services are documented in daily schedules and progress notes); be able to show up to work on-time, dressed in a professional manner at all times; and have the ability to help our clients become more independent in their community.
